I Give Up

So this is what it's come to...

Ainsley's mattress on our bedroom floor. I'm tired. I'm over it. I'm done. I can't fight with her over bedtime anymore. And I'm done complaining about it on this blog.
So if she will go to sleep here and I can have one hour before my own bedtime, then I give in and she wins.

Hey, if you can sleep then do it. We all like to believe we are perfect parents, but in the end perfect comes when it works for you and keeps YOUR family happy. Nothing can be by the book and I threw those out after year one anyway!

Jaime, the only way to look at this new arrangement is as a Win-Wiin for all. Failure? I've been around a long time and all I see is what a Great mother my daughter-in-law is!

Man... that child is so much like her Aunt DeeDee... I can remember sneaking into Mom and Dad's room every night at that age. She will grow out of it, until then, you have to do what works! You are an awesome mama!
